WNC | Hurricane Helene Relief

The direction of woven relief gatherings took a turn on October 1, 2024, when Whitney found herself heading from Nashville back to her hometown of Hendersonville, NC where Hurricane Helene brought severe devastation. Carrying a car full of water, generators, and gasoline, she headed home to check on her family. Woven is now the community organizer for long-term recovery. The long-term recovery of the covenant community by facilitating art therapy gatherings for parents and children. A focus on creative direction and production to find innovative ways to raise mental health awareness in our community by partnering with a local dance company, Numinous Flux.
