The story of woven philanthropy begins with Central America - a place whitney called home from 2010-2014.
Woven Philanthropy serves as a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor for two impactful programs in Central America: Una Fiera Women’s Program and Tu Amiga Estela. Woven colleague Cadence Snyder established these programs to empower women and girls through education and support services.
Una Fiera: A girl’s program created to empower, mentor, and provide resources to young girls in impoverished, rural villages.
Tu Amiga Estela: A business started by locals creating reusable period pads for rural villages in Central America.
