Whitney was more than a wedding planner, she was and will be a friend. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she cared deeply for people and connection, making her the obvious choice to help execute our special day. Throughout the 10 months of planning, Whitney listened spiritedly and compassionately, making thoughtful, curated recommendations for various vendors and design elements that contributed to the vibe we were striving for in a meaningful way. On the wedding day, she brought a refreshing calmness to chaos with a quiet authority that could command 17 groomsmen/bridesmaids, 4 parents, 2 officiants, and 8 niblings with one gentle only—slightly-raised word and a raised hand. She never looked stressed or frantic, and she moved around the wedding lightly, ensuring things were going smoothly and periodically checking in with the two of us to make sure everything was perfect. She contributed to the vibe that we wanted ourselves and our guests to feel that day – relaxed but thoughtfully engaged. She had an amazing ability to keep track of important details and ensure they were executed well which eliminated any stress around feeling like we had to micromanage. Whitney was truly the best. We miss her as a constant in our everyday lives and look forward to continuing a friendship for years to come.
